A Light | Dusk' is Granite to Glass' first release in almost 3 years, recorded in Jen's parish, Church of the Transfiguration, in NYC 's Chinatown with a single binaural microphone, produced & engineered by Ryan Majoris.

The group's songwriter Jon Kohen sought to explore the concept of a true, vulnerable love that causes the outside world to trickle away. What he discovered is an utterly calm, yet freeing, moment in time that exists for eternity. Even if such love eventually fades away, 'A Light' remains, and one will never be alone.

"A Light" turns to "Dusk", and Kohen imagines spirits departing from our world for the night, whispering to the living as they fade into the darkness. The thought of time and existence is often daunting, filled with fear and haunting premonitions. However, inspired by his love for fantasy, alternate universes, and Kurt Vonnegut, Kohen diverts this fear into positive introspection. Peering beyond the bounds of time and existence, he finds the strength to courageously live and love, even when the light goes out.
